Over the years I have often made the comment, "I have been discipled by dead men." Simply because in large measure it is true. In a quest to find answers to endless "skirted issues in sermons" reading the writings of the past "Redwood Giants" in the faith brought me the light I was hungering for in scripture. This is why I quote them so often in my sermons. Their words are like windows letting light into the room of the Bible. Thus, people regularly ask me if they can know more about these great men and women of God. We are now developing a blog of short biographies for your enjoyment.
